Altera® Agilex™ 9 SoC Direct RF

VPX boards based on the Altera® Agilex™ 9 SoC Direct RF FPGA

The  module presented here is based on altera® Agilex™ 9 SoC Direct RF FPGA. Altera® Agilex™ 9 SoC Direct RF FPGAs are part of the Agilex™ SoC family.

These Direct RF SoC FPGAs use Intel's SuperFin 10nm process technology, quad-core Arm processors, ultra-low latency on the converter interface, transceiver data rates of up to 58 Gbit/s, and feature high channel density packages to meet stringent size, weight and power constraints.

Direct RF is a technology that enables the direct conversion of radio frequency (RF) signals into digital data, without the need for intermediate conversion into analog signals. This approach simplifies signal processing, reduces quality losses and improves the performance of communication systems. Used in applications such as radar, military communications systems and surveillance equipment, Direct RF enables greater precision and responsiveness by processing RF signals with optimum efficiency.
